You can get makeup and nail polish brands from Cherry Culture that are sometimes hard to find in stores, like NYX, Jordana, Milani, Jelly Pong, and China Glaze. This is where I got the NYX nail polishes I posted about here and here. I have a tube of this $3 Jordana mascara that is supposed to be the shit, but I haven't tried it out yet. I also have this $1.49 lip balm in strawberry, and it is fucking good. I'm picky about lip balm. Most of them actually make my lips drier, but that one doesn't. Your Claws: Beautifully cheap greens from NYX

If you want to get with the Pantone Color of the Year thing (Emerald), here are a couple of fucking gorgeous options. They're NYX Girls Emerald Forest (left), which is a glass-fleck, shimmery green that shifts to gold. It's similar to Zoya Ivanka or Zoya Apple, but I don't own those, so I can't tell you which one it's a dupe for. Or try NYX Girls Mermaid Green (right), which is an unusual green that's slightly on the blue side, but not teal.

Fix Your Face Review: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Bronze

According to the blurb on Cherry Culture, these pencils have been a NYX bestseller for years. One of the major attractions for me was the huge range of colors: Cherry Culture has 36 shades available, ranging from basic neutrals to glittery metallics to acidic neons. Regular price is $4.50 (though they're on sale for $2.99 at the moment).

I figured I couldn't go wrong with something so popular and ended up getting the Bronze shade. Despite the name, it's copper. Definitely not bronze.
