e.l.f. has a surprise "refund" deal today through Monday (April 15): up to 40% (or 50%?) off

The promo says that you will get 20-40% off when you click on the link on the upper right corner of the e.l.f. homepage. When I did it, however, I got 50% off . . . so I'm not sure exactly what's going on. The fine print for my discount says that the maximum discount is $10, so I can add up to $20 to my cart and get half off.
