I started out reading Refinery29 with actual interest, but I think I have officially transitioned into hate-reading.

Striving always to be honest and only sometimes brutal. Product reviews, comparisons, swatches, and rambling about consumerism, feminism, and other issues related to beauty culture. You won't find all the newest releases and limited edition products here--I'm trying to find things that work, whether they're classics or the latest thing. I think of beauty products as (fun, pretty) tools, so I look for functionality above all else. More about me here.
