Serious stuff (Santa Barbara)
I know I just posted about my hair, of all things, and this isn't normally the place for extremely serious political or social topics unrelated to makeup/fashion. If you are having trouble, however, like I've been, organizing and processing your thoughts and feelings about the horrifying murders in Santa Barbara this weekend, I recommend taking a look at this post which classifies those crimes as misogynist extremism. I found it helpful in articulating the rage and confusion and fear I've experienced. As always, use your own discretion when choosing whether or not to read the comments.

More garbage from Refinery 29: Linking personality with hair color
I'm not going to go through a whole analysis of this article. I'll just say that it could have been an interesting premise, maybe, but "blonds like attention" and "brunettes are serious" is such a load of shit. Even if you're talking about the colors people choose to dye their hair. The entire continents of the world where almost everyone has dark hair must be very solemn places.
